General guidelines
These are the rules everyone admitted to CRAFT agrees to. They are deliberately plain. If any of them is a problem for you, it is better to know now than in month two.

Two courses at a time
A maximum of 2 courses will be conducted simultaneously on the Darsgah Taleem-ul-Quran premises. Which courses run in a given cohort depends on demand and mentor availability.

No guarantee of employment
CRAFT does not guarantee employment or job placement upon completion of any course. What we provide is teaching, practical work and a portfolio. The hiring decision always belongs to employers.

Course fee
The total course fee for the 3-month programme is ₹3,000, of which ₹2,000 must be paid in advance at the time of admission. The remaining ₹1,000 is payable during the programme.

Foundation / crash course
A Foundation or Crash Course may be conducted for beginners, where applicable, to help them prepare for their chosen course. You will be told at selection if this applies to you.

Seats are limited
Each course has a maximum intake of 10 students. Overall, only 50 candidates will be admitted, after a screening and selection process.

Who can apply
CRAFT is currently intended exclusively for eligible candidates from Mohalla Mum Khan (Kathi Darwaza). Applications from outside this locality cannot be considered in the current cohort.

Attendance
If a candidate is absent for 4 consecutive classes without prior approval or a valid reason, their admission will be cancelled. No fee refund will be provided in such cases.

You may be offered a different course
Based on the screening process, candidates may be offered enrollment in a course different from the one they initially selected, depending on aptitude, eligibility and seat availability.

How fees are handled
All course fees will be deposited only into the official Darsgah Taleem-ul-Quran account. However, the accounts and records relating to CRAFT course fees are maintained separately from the general accounts of Darsgah Taleem-ul-Quran.

Changing course after admission
If a candidate wishes to change their course after admission, the fees already paid will not be refunded or adjusted against the new course. The candidate must pay the full fee for the course they are changing to. Please choose carefully at selection, and if you are unsure, say so during the screening conversation rather than after classes have begun.
How fees and accounts are handled
CRAFT is run jointly by Darsgah Taleem-ul-Quran and Snow Stag. Darsgah Taleem-ul-Quran has made its premises available to support this initiative for the benefit and skill development of the youth of Mohalla Mum Khan. Course fees are collected through the Darsgah account for administrative convenience, but CRAFT's accounts, records and operations are maintained entirely separately from the general accounts of Darsgah Taleem-ul-Quran.
